Easy Prep 3rd Grade Math Puzzles for your math centers with a winter theme. These math puzzles are just perfect for your 3rd Grade math centers because there is so little prep! Just print, laminate and cut ONLY STRAIGHT lines! WooHoo! Color and black & white printables are available and the answer keys are included.
How do they work?
Students must answer each math equation/question in the box at the bottom of each page with a dry erase marker or Vis-A-Vis marker. They then put their ANSWERS in order from least to greatest. If their answers are correct, the puzzle should look complete. Answer sheets are included for additional checking.
I have my students complete the answers and puzzle, then take a picture with the classroom tablet. They then bring the picture up to me (or the designated leader of the day if I am working with a small group) and they may check their answers from the tablet with the answer key.

Identifying and Ordering Fractional Parts
(A – Name one digit from the fraction B – Name both digits in the fraction)
Identifying Fractions on a Number Line
(A – One missing fraction on the number line B – All numbers missing on the number line)

(A – Name the value of the underlined digit B – Round to the underlined digit)
Division
(A – Divide by 2 & 5 B – Divide by 1-9)
Multiplication
(A – Multiply within 100 B – Multiply Single by Tens)
Time
(A – Tell time to 5 minute intervals B – Tell time to the minute)
Subtraction
(A – Subtract with no regrouping B – Subtract with regrouping)
Related Facts
(A – Identify the division equation when give the matching multiplication fact B –
Identity the missing factors and quotients in related facts)
Equal Groups
(A – What is the missing factor in the equal groups? picture B What multiplication fact matches the equal groups picture?
Area
