Want a great display after your students finish reading a biography or a short non-fiction story about a true hero? This template is the perfect solution, and it could also be used as a research project. The report is two pages long and makes for an easy, yet bold display.
The first page has students cite their source(s) of information, and tell basic information (birth place and dates, family information, draw a picture) about the person they have read and researched about.
The second page is more in depth and allows the students to write about their hero’s life growing up, what they are famous for, and most importantly what the students learned from the person they read about.
Each page is in black and white with lots of borders for the students to add color to the project. A rubric is also included for easy grading.
Update: New borders, more specific rubric and the report in both landscape and portrait.
Common Core ELA Standards: RI.3.2, W.3.7, W.3.8
