Solar System Sort
It was two days before my students were going to take their test over the Solar System and I needed some centers for them the practice. I had a vocabulary center on the iPads already and some questions I made into task cards, but I needed another center.
This Solar System Sort is what came about from my need. As you can see in the thumbnail pictures, there are four categories: The Sun, Earth’s Moon, The Planets, and Comets/Asteroids. There are 12 “cards” for the students to cut out and paste under the correct category such as: Most, but not all, have moons (planets) or Orbits the Earth (Earth’s Moon). An answer key is provided.
